This scenic overlook has been a part of my memory since childhood -- my father took our family here often from the time I was in 2nd grade -- it is definitely a favorite view. These falls move more than 100 million gallons of water each day.
Macro shot of the center of the falls.
This area to the right of the falls seems to have gotten more active in the last few years, I remember this being much drier when I was a child.
Another close up of the center of the falls, my new camera has a GREAT zoom feature.
The falls generate their own rainbow as seen here.
More zoom action with the new camera.
This is one of my most favorite spots in the whole world.
Can't get enough of this new birthday camera.
Still not done playing with the zoom.
A bunch of little orange flowers grace the landscape, don't remember ever seeing them here before.
