The Air Force Academy Chapel includes both Protestant and Catholic chapels, a Jewish synagogue, Muslim mosque, as well as a Buddhist temple.
Tiger lilies were blooming everywhere on our visit to the Air Force Academy Museum.
We were encouraged by our daughter to see the Garden of the Gods, it was worth the trip, absolutely amazing landscape.
This amazing 30 foot tall formation appears to be precariously balanced, yet didn't stop either of us from testing it's balancing strength!
Formations like this were available in a variety of colors, what is difficult to see is that there are climbers going up the side!!

The Anasazi, these ancient people developed a complex civilization of large interrelated communities thousands of years before the birth of Christ, and built buildings up to five stories high, such as these at Manitou Springs.
Macro shot of the flowers on display at the Manitou Springs Cliff Dwelling.
At Royal Gorge we not only crossed the bridge (it's wood planks you can actually walk and drive on -- super scary) but found this adorable goat on the carousel.
This little guy joined us for an al fresco dinner while we were at Royal Gorge.
